About Kikuwa Bonsai Tools
Kikuwa Bonsai Tools
Bonsai is a unique Japanese culture that is considered a living art form. And now, it is attracting attention as BONSAI from all over the world.
Bonsai uses the largest variety of tools of any horticultural activity. There are several regions in Japan that are known as cutlery production areas.
Sanjo City in Niigata Prefecture, where Kikuwa is located, is one of them, and when it comes to bonsai tools, most of them are produced in Sanjo City.
Kikuwa does not have a manufacturing division, but we are taking advantage of our location to produce all kinds of bonsai tools in cooperation with many manufacturers.
A Wide Variety of Bonsai Tools
Kikuwa's bonsai tools include more than 150 standard types of scissors alone, with dozens to hundreds of scissors in stock, some of which are purchased by the thousand, and we always have more than 30,000 scissors in stock.
Most incoming shears are stored covered in rust-preventing oil, but upon receiving an order they are inspected, adjusted, stamped, packaged and shipped.
As well as our own brand "Kikuwa", we produce engravings of our clients' brands and ship OEM bonsai tools at the request of trading companies in domestic blade production areas and bonsai gardens in Japan and abroad.
Kikuwa Bonsai Tools
Bonsai tools created with people involved in bonsai.
Kikuwa bonsai tools are made by people involved in bonsai.
We listen to requests from professional bonsai artists and produce/sell bonsai tools together with manufacturers and craftsmen based on the details of the requests.
The skill and passion of the craftsmen is reflected in the quality and beauty of the bonsai tools.
Bonsai tools created with people involved in bonsai are durable, easy-to-use and long-lasting products.
High quality bonsai tools
High-quality bonsai tools outperform mass-produced products in terms of long-lasting sharpness and ease of sharpening.
Unlike knives, shears are laminated blades, so the hardness of the right and left blades must be the same.
Bonsai tools made by craftsmen with great care are not much different from mass-produced products in terms of their initial sharpness, but their sharpness is remarkably long-lasting. They are also easier to sharpen and last longer.
Wide range of products handled
Kikuwa offers the widest range of bonsai tools anywhere.
In addition to cutting tools such as bonsai pruning shears and wire cutters, we also have many original products that other companies do not offer, such as tweezers, replanting supplies, bonsai jacks and rotating work tables.
In addition, many bonsai tools are expensive, but there are also affordable bonsai tools that are easy for beginners to start with, especially the introductory bonsai care set, which is very popular.
